FOX IV HITPRINT Ink Jet Printing System at NPE2012
FOX IV Technologies, Inc. will display the FOX IV HITPRINT series of ink jet printers at the NPE2012 Plastics Show April 2-5 in Orlando, FL.
The FOX IV HITPRINT ink jet printers can print high resolution images, text, and bar codes on a wide range of porous and non-porous surfaces with a solvent free, environmentally safe, UV ink.
UV inks have superior lightfastness, very good scratch resistance, can withstand high temperature environments, and are resistant to chemicals.
Ink colors include black, blue, red and a white pigmented ink for printing on dark surfaces. There are also low and no migration inks for printing on food packaging.
No ink pouring required – just connect the bag-in-box and run. The inks can be shipped via UPS or other common carriers. Disposal of empty ink containers does not require any special handling or permits.
Print widths of 1.4” (36mm) and 2.75” (70 mm) with print resolutions from 180 dpi to 360 dpi.
Up to 4 printheads can be operated from one control system. Software is available to stitch images for up to 11” wide printing. The printheads operate at a low temperature thereby significantly reducing energy consumption.
Printing formats are designed using CodeSoft – a global label design software package that can also communicate with FOX IV label printers and label printer applicators. Over 100 bar codes are supported - both linear and 2-D codes can be printed.
